1. Product overview:
Common caster wheels such as rack wheels and cart wheels are made of hard plastic (such as PP, PA) and soft plastic (such as TPR, TPE, PU, EVA and TPU). As the skeleton material of the foot wheel, hard plastic plays the role of bearing weight, while soft glue plays the role of anti-skid, shock and noise reduction.
At present, in the caster industry, copolymerized PP is mainly used for hard plastics, and PA nylon is also used for some of them. TPE is used for soft plastics, which accounts for a large proportion of the market demand for TPR. This kind of caster is usually shaped by two-step injection molding. That is, the first step is to inject the rigid plastic PP or PA; The second step, in another set of molds, first put the molded hard plastic parts and fix the position, and then stick the soft plastic TPE and TPR to the place where the hard plastic parts need to be covered.
